A civil engineering company, Ishar Infrastructure and Developers Pvt. Ltd. and an IT company, Perfect Communication, recently visited RIMT-Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Mandi Gobindgarh to recruit B.Tech Civil and MCA students respectively for the post of graduate engineer trainee.
Chairman of RIMT - Group of Institutions, Sh. Hukam Chand Bansal, extended warm welcome to company officials. He said that Ishar is a fast growing Civil Construction Company into ROB Projects in Madhya Pradesh and road works in Punjab and Chandigarh. He added that this is an excellent opportunity for budding civil engineers, as they will be given an exposure to work on real-time engineering projects. The company has also shown interest to provide six months industrial training to selected students.
In an another placement event for IT students, Perfect Communications visited RIMT to recruit final year students of B.Tech computer science and MCA for six months industrial training and placement.
While interacting with company officials, S.K.Ahluwalia, Chief Director General of the institute, said that those selected will be offered a handsome stipend during six months industrial training and will be offered a rewarding package on completion of training.
After technical test and personal interview, eleven students of B.Tech civil engineering and seven students of B.Tech-computer science and MCA got selected. They will be joining from January itself and work as full time employee as part of their six months industrial training and will continue even after the training.
Dr. Pritpal Singh, Principal and Prof. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Principal and Prof. H.S.Taluja, Director Placements were present on the occasion and congratulated the selected students.
